The Role: We are seeking a Planning Support Officer to provide administrative and technical support within the Development Management Enforcement service. The post holder will assist in the processing of planning and enforcement applications in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures, including validation, registration, record keeping, and fee collection. The role also involves producing correspondence and reports, supporting committee processes, maintaining accurate data and systems, and responding to customer enquiries. The role requires effective use of ICT systems, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy public service environment. The post holder will contribute to service performance, continuous improvement, and effective working relationships with colleagues, elected members, customers, and external stakeholders.
