Learning Support Assistant for SEND TA2 - Grade D SCP 06 11 with SEN Allowance (actual salary £18,663.19 to £20,122.86 per annum) 30 hours per week, term time only working 8.40am – 3.10pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Fridays and 8.40am till 4pm on Tuesdays.
Required for as soon as possible, fixed term and permanent contracts available. We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide support for learners across the curriculum so that they secure swift progress.
We are looking for an exceptional colleague with:
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- A general understanding of the curriculum and of classroom roles and responsibilities
- A passion for ensuring that each and every learner flourishes and feels proud of his/her individual achievements
- The ability to build and maintain successful relationships with learners, to treat them consistently with respect and consideration and demonstrate concern for their development as learners
- Strong inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence
- Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role in a primary or secondary school
