We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel consumption.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with legal requirements.
- Secure loads properly on flatbeds to prevent movement or damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered en route.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety laws, regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating large commercial vehicles, including flatbeds.
