What you'll do

• Lead the strategic vision for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Partner with cross-disciplinary teams to pinpoint and explore opportunities for implementing AI solutions that enhance road safety and service delivery.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of AI projects, from initial concept through to successful deployment and evaluation.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify trends and insights that can inform AI strategy and implementation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners, to foster collaboration on AI initiatives.
• Ensure that all AI projects adhere to ethical standards and comply with relevant regulations, particularly concerning data privacy and security.
• Mentor and guide team members in AI methodologies and best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI systems, making recommendations for enhancements and adjustments as necessary.
• Prepare and present reports on AI initiatives, showcasing their impact on road safety and service improvements to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technology and methodologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in roles focused on AI or machine learning is required.
• Demonstrated success in leading AI projects from initial concept through to successful execution and delivery.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams.
