This role focuses on developing new business relationships and providing first-level support to existing clients within TransPerfect Life Sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an effective understanding of the capability, benefits and competitive advantages of TransPerfect’s services
  • Identify prospective customers and organizations to focus on sales activities
  • Develop new client relationships via cold calling, Internet, and trade shows
  • Coordinate with Sales Management to identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities
  • Promote and educate clients regarding TransPerfect’s services
  • Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production Management Team
  • Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by understanding company procedures
  • Learn about each client’s industry, business needs and culture to identify new opportunities and provide a high level of service
  • Perform other special projects or duties as required

Skills and experience

  • Proven Strategic Business Development experience
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Analytical skills to project revenues, monitor budgets and related calculations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work 5 days per week from our London office
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, work with diverse teams, build strategic client relationships, work as part of a team, solve problems and maintain a high level of service

TransPerfect Life Sciences provides language and technology solutions to support global clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and medical communications, helping life sciences organizations streamline processes and achieve global readiness.

This role will focus on growing and developing new business relationships within our eCOA/Digital Health team.
