Translation Project Coordinator in Manchester

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the completion of all language projects.
• Execute patent translation & filing projects from start to finish, serving as a single point of accountability for quality, completion and profitability.
• Work with clients and sales teams to deliver top‑quality translations for patent prosecution in this fast‑growing department.
• Build and maintain relationships with linguists and patent attorneys worldwide.
• Collaborate with the team to understand the patent filing process and advise clients and sales on best practices as a knowledgeable patent expert.
• Communicate trending issues to managers and the wider team; work collaboratively to solve problems and improve internal processes and external offerings.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi‑task.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks and work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new things, openness to challenges, and ability to thrive on success.
• Fluency in a foreign language and interest in IP services preferable but not required.
