Internal Linguist (Hebrew into English) in City of Westminster

Responsibilities

• Understand Trans Perfect's quality standards and ensure they are upheld to meet client expectations.
• Take part in and pass all trainings required for Associate Linguists, including but not limited to subject matter certification, tech tools, TPT production processes, and Quality Assurance processes.
• Navigate among company resources such as Confluence, Launchpad, and technology platforms.
• Perform all linguistic tasks according to project specifications, including project instructions, reference materials, language assets (translation memory, glossary, style guide, etc.).
• Follow internal and client processes on all projects.
• Work under close supervision of the Team Lead or a more senior member of the team.
• Achieve quality and efficiency targets set by manager or supervisor.
• Complete all other tasks deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Hebrew.
• Bilingual fluency in English.
• Cultural knowledge in both Hebrew and English.
• Flexible with changes of priorities and adaptive to a fast-paced work environment, including alignment with production and team needs.
• Adaptable to various assignments and tasks, using relevant skills and tools (accuracy, creativity, terminology adequacy, etc.).
• Effective multitasking to simultaneously execute multiple projects.
• Organizational skills, ability to prioritize, results-oriented, self-motivated.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and focus under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent and/or translation certificate.
• Successfully passed the Internal Linguistic testing in line with Trans Perfect's TLC program.
• Prior experience with translation, proofreading, or copywriting in life science contents is a plus.
