We are a specialist engineering company providing calibration, testing, and repair services for garage and vehicle testing equipment. Our services include gas and smoke analyser calibration, emissions testing, brake testing, headlight calibration, and vehicle lift repair and maintenance. We support garages, testing stations, and industrial clients with reliable, compliant engineering solutions.

The Role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to carry out:

  • Gas and smoke analyser calibrations
  • Emissions calibration and testing
  • Brake tester calibration and servicing
  • Headlight beam setter calibration
  • Vehicle lift inspection, repair, and routine maintenance
  • Fault diagnosis and on-site repairs
  • Completion of service reports and compliance documentation
  • Providing technical support and customer advice on-site

Requirements

Essential:

  • Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, or related discipline)
  • Experience with garage equipment, vehicle testing, or calibration work
  • Ability to work independently and manage field-based work
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with vehicle lifts, brake testers, or emissions equipment
  • Calibration certification or relevant industry training
  • Knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards
  • Previous experience working in garages or test centres
