WordPress Developer – PHP / HTML / CSS – Up to £45k + Benefits
An established digital agency is seeking a WordPress Developer to join their collaborative production team. You’ll be building bespoke WordPress websites and applications, working closely with designers and developers to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly solutions for a variety of clients.
As a WordPress Developer, you’ll:
Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
Work on responsive layouts with HTML5, CSS3, and PHP
Integrate APIs and contribute to bespoke functionality
Ensure accessibility, usability, and performance across platforms
Collaborate with the wider team and contribute to project estimates and documentation
Skills & Experience Required
Strong WordPress development experience (themes, plugins, custom builds)
Proficiency with PHP and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
Experience with version control (Git)
Awareness of accessibility standards and best practices
