A VC-backed AI company is rebuilding how accounting work gets done, using agentic workflows and AI automation to eliminate the high-volume operational work that has resisted meaningful automation for decades. Working with some of the world's largest accounting firms, they are building enterprise-grade AI systems on top of ERP platforms like SAP, NetSuite and Workday to automate complex financial workflows at scale.

They are looking for a Staff Product Engineer to own meaningful product surface area end-to-end across backend systems, AI workflows, infrastructure, and frontend applications where required. This is a highly product-focused engineering role for someone comfortable solving complex problems across the stack rather than operating within narrow boundaries.

Required experience:
  • 5-10 years building complex software products at scale
  • Strong Python experience
  • Strong system design and distributed systems experience
  • Experience shipping production-grade software to enterprise customers
  • Comfortable working across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and AI systems
  • Strong product engineering mindset and ownership mentality
  • Experience with AI tooling, LLMs, or agentic workflows
  • FinTech, ERP, accounting, audit, or financial services experience
