Transparent Search Group is conducting a search on behalf of a manufacturing client based in Manchester, Iowa. This is an on-site, 2nd shift supervisory role suited for an experienced production professional who is local to the area or already planning a move to Iowa. Candidates outside this geography will not be considered at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct production floor employees during the 2nd shift to meet daily output and quality targets
  • Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and equipment utilization to ensure operational efficiency
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Identify and address production bottlenecks, equipment issues, and personnel concerns in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate shift records including production logs, downtime reports, and employee attendance
  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and day-shift supervision to support continuity of operations
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and on-the-job training to production staff

Qualifications
