Are you an experienced Management Accountant who enjoys improving processes and being part of a small finance team with interaction and involvement across the wider business?
Transparent is delighted to be supporting this thriving business in the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join the team in a newly created position working alongside an experienced and supportive Head of Finance.
This new role will play a key part in leading and managing the financial control function and providing commercial support when it comes to decision making.
Key duties: Month-end close, month-end management reports to include P L Driving process improvements and systems implementation as the business continues to evolve Supporting with project costing and margin analysis Business partnering with department heads to ensure financial profitability Producing quarterly board reports for Head of Finance Weekly payment runs, weekly CIS payment checks, weekly bank reconciliations Completion of statutory returns to include CIS and VAT Setting annual budgets alongside the Head of Finance Working with auditors, working with external accountants to produce year end accounts and corporation tax Line management of a small finance team This role would suit someone who comes with a strong financial management and commercial awareness capability, as well as excellent leadership and team management skills.
The role also requires someone with an inquisitive mindset who enjoys implementing process improvements for the good of the business as it continues on its journey of growth.
