Would you like the opportunity to work for a growing business that offers progression and development? Are you experienced with supporting month-end processes and managing day-to-day financial processes? Transparent continues to support this well-established and highly successful business in the recruitment of a Finance Manager to join their small and friendly team in Harlow. This is an operational finance position that would suit someone who is “hands-on” and proactive. As the business continues on its journey of growth, you will have the opportunity to recruit additional members of staff as your role evolves.
Working closely with the Finance Director, your role will include:
- Assisting with the production of management accounts
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting month-end close
- Preparing accruals and prepayments and maintaining the fixed asset register
- Bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assisting with process improvements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and controls
- Monitoring aged debtors and proactively chase outstanding debt
- Processing invoices and expenses
