KS2 Teacher Location: Wandsworth, South West London Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum (M1–UPS3) Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary Start date: 28 September 2026 or as soon as possible A forward-thinking primary school in Wandsworth is seeking an inspiring KS2 Teacher to join its teaching team on a full-time, long-term basis. The school provides an engaging curriculum that combines strong foundations in English and mathematics with creative, practical and enrichment opportunities. Leaders are looking for a KS2 Teacher who can set high expectations while ensuring that pupils feel supported, challenged and enthusiastic about learning. Responsibilities • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum • Using assessment effectively to identify gaps and support pupil progress • Differentiating teaching for pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs • Establishing clear routines and maintaining positive behaviour • Supporting pupils’ confidence, independence and readiness for their next stage • Working collaboratively with parallel teachers and support staff • Building productive relationships with parents and carers • Participating in staff meetings, training and wider school activities • Maintaining accurate records and fulfilling all safeguarding responsibilities Requirements • UK Qualified Teacher Status • Successful experience teaching within Key Stage 2 • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and age-related expectations • Effective planning, assessment and behaviour-management skills • The ability to provide appropriate challenge and support • A commitment to inclusive teaching and pupil wellbeing • Strong organisational and communication skills • ECTs with relevant KS2 experience and experienced teachers are welcome to apply What the school and role offer • Salary paid in line with the stated teacher pay scale • A supportive leadership team with clear expectations • Collaborative planning and access to high-quality resources • Professional-development opportunities linked to individual goals • A broad curriculum with opportunities for creative teaching • Supportive colleagues and well-established classroom routines • A long-term role in which you can make a visible impact Why work via Transparency Education?
