Looking for flexible primary teaching work closer to home? Transparency Education is seeking a professional Daily Supply Teacher for schools in and around Bexley. You can choose when you work, indicate your preferred year groups and gain experience in a variety of local settings without taking on a permanent timetable. A strong Daily Supply Teacher provides more than classroom supervision. You will keep pupils learning, follow the teacher’s plans and leave each class in a positive position for the following day. Main responsibilities • Teach prepared lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. • Maintain clear expectations and calm classroom routines. • Adapt explanations and tasks for different levels of understanding. • Follow school policies relating to safeguarding and behaviour. • Complete reasonable marking and provide a concise handover. • Communicate professionally with school staff and agency consultants. • Arrive prepared, punctual and ready to engage pupils. Essential requirements The appointed Daily Supply Teacher will need: • QTS or another recognised status appropriate for the placement. • Recent classroom experience within a UK primary-school context. • Strong behaviour-management and organisational skills. • Flexibility and confidence working in unfamiliar classrooms. • A reliable and professional approach to bookings. • A sound understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
