Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Bromley, London Location: Bromley, London Salary: £40,372 per annum (M1) Contract: Full-time | Long-term temporary Start Date: 8 September 2026

Transparency Education is recruiting an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher for a full-time, long-term primary school position starting in September 2026.

The Early Career Teacher role You will

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the relevant primary curriculum.
  • Establish positive classroom routines and high expectations.
  • Assess pupil learning and use assessment to inform planning.
  • Adapt teaching for different abilities and additional needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.
  • Engage with professional development, feedback and reflective practice.
  • Contribute to the wider school community.
  • The exact year group will depend on the schools requirements and the successful candidates strengths and experience.

Requirements

  • QTS, or expected QTS before the position begins.
  • Appropriate teacher training and school-placement experience.
  • Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Enthusiasm for developing excellent classroom practice.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil progress.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Pay is determined based on candidate qualifications and experience.

Where applicable, ECT induction arrangements will need to be confirmed with the school for the specific placement.
