Overview

Transmission Dynamics is a UK-based Industrial Internet of Things solutions provider delivering advanced hardware and software solutions across a range of sectors including rail, freight, mining, wind and energy.

Role: Transmission Dynamics is seeking experienced business development manager candidates for a full-time vacancy. This role will require leading active liaison between potential/live clients and internal technical teams to support efficient and effective servicing of incoming business enquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to initial client enquiries and leading dialogue to understand their specific requirements.
  • Organising, documenting and following up potential client meetings.
  • Advising on appropriate product/service solutions to meet these requirements (in liaison with the technical team).
  • Developing and deploying resulting techno-commercial proposals to the clients.
  • Proactively reviewing incoming tender opportunities and where appropriate supporting commercial and technical colleagues to respond to these.
  • Supporting review of terms and conditions and contractual documentation received from potential clients.
  • Working closely with the Business Development Director to continuously improve business development documentation/processes.
  • Providing any other commercial support required to sustain ongoing business development.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years demonstrable client-facing commercial sales experience.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Skills or experience related to Industrial Internet of Things products/services.
