We are looking for an experienced, strategic and commercially minded Account Director to join our team, overseeing several established and new B2B brands. What you'll do:
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' marketing objectives, team structures and MarTech stacks to provide strategic media planning guidance.
- Take full ownership of client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, growth and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead media strategy and planning across multiple accounts, ensuring campaigns are insight-driven, effective and measurable.
- Take a leading role with new business pitches and client onboarding, contributing to agency growth with oversight and support from the Media Director.
- Provide thought leadership and industry insights to help clients navigate the evolving media landscape and make informed strategic decisions.
- Oversee and develop a high-performing team, providing leadership, mentorship and career development support.
- Ensure all client deliverables meet the highest quality standards, from strategic recommendations to execution and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors and media partners to drive seamless execution of campaigns.
- Take ownership of financial management, including revenue forecasting, budget tracking and ensuring profitability across accounts with oversight from the Media Director.
- Act as a key point of escalation for both internal and client teams, resolving challenges and maintaining a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a client-facing media planning role, executing campaigns across digital (social, programmatic, search, display & video) and traditional (out of home, print) media in collaboration with specialist teams.
- A commercially astute leader with a proven track record of building and expanding client relationships.
- A strategic thinker, confident in translating client business objectives into effective media plans and ensuring campaigns align with broader marketing goals.
- An experienced team manager with a passion for mentoring and developing talent, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
- Proactive problem solver who can independently manage client expectations, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and strategic goals are met.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs across every aspect of the role.
- Impeccable financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting and revenue tracking.
- Working knowledge of trafficking tools (e.g. CM360) and an understanding of paid social and search platform fundamentals.
- A skilled communicator with the ability to develop visually compelling and inspiring presentations that engage and inspire clients.
