Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations – Aberdeen.

Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

The role:

  • As a Craftsperson you will ensure the maintenance and compliance of our civil and building operations.
  • You will carry out day to day repairs, defect rectifications and designated project repairs.
  • Primarily carry out civil and buildings maintenance activities, supporting other personnel in day-to-day repairs and project work.
  • Oversee compliance works by others to ensure sites meet statutory obligations.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and report operational defects promptly.
  • Conduct risk assessments, plus environmental and safety inspections on Transmission sites.
  • Be prepared to work outdoors in varied weather and occasionally outside typical hours when required.

You have:

  • A multi-skilled craftsperson background with experience in industrial settings.
  • Minimum qualification of CSC or another similar accreditation.
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills, interacting well across all business levels.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in maintenance scheduling and reporting software.
  • Extremely flexible attitude, essential for teamwork and communication with colleagues.
