Assistant Project Manager – Transmission Project

Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness
Salary: £35,200 - £52,800 plus car allowance and performance bonus
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and report on significant project budgets.
  • Manage multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver multiple project outputs, including Design Works, Construction and multi‑project interface management.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of NEC3 and FIDIC contracts, focused on Engineering and Construction and Professional Services contracts.
  • Apply industry legislation, Health and Safety legislation and company policies, actively managing project risks through the risk management system.

Qualifications

  • Some experience in project lifecycle including design phases, with the ability to develop optimum project solutions, deliver to timescales and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other key health, safety and environmental legislation.
  • Understanding of the electrical network within the Transmission business.
  • Ideally a background in electrical engineering although not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to represent EGL 2 with outside organisations.

Driving Licence Requirement

Due to the need to travel and be on site you must have a driving licence.
