We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive adoption of the TransMedics Organ Care System (OCS) across the United Kingdom (UK), expanding utilization in heart, lung, and liver transplantation programs. This role is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales goals by developing strategic partnerships with transplant centers, advancing the National Organ Care Program (NOP), and strengthening TransMedics’ presence within the UK transplant ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role in improving patient access to life-saving organ transplant technologies through strategic account development, clinical engagement, and market expansion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve overall quarterly and annual sales goals by developing and driving the adoption of Organ Care System (OCS) use in UK in Heart, Lung and Liver.
- Build up the NOP in UK.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge base of OCS, its uses, advantages of perfusion of organs & the market and the competition to be able to build credibility towards customers.
- Develop and present an annual business plan and quarterly business reviews, account by account for all three countries.
- Identify, visit and develop new customers.
- Track and report Product and logistic tenders for organ transplantation.
- Find new strategies for the adaptation for OCS in heart, lung and liver.
- Capability to lead OCS Specialists.
- Visit and further develop existing accounts in order to generate long term sustainable and predictable business.
- Liaise with all relevant governmental bodies together with Market Access within UK to foster awareness of the OCS and to ensure reimbursement continuity and optimization of reimbursement.
- Organize together with the clinical training lead and attend trainings and meetings with health care professionals to enhance the knowledge of the OCS and to ensure the correct use of OCS.
- Accompany transplantations if necessary.
- Submit monthly and quarterly reports including planning, activities.
- Present TransMedics on most important congresses in UK and international congresses.
- Monitor and check all stock held by the accounts on a regular basis.
- Take care of customer orders.
- Control and monitor all your expenses and submit expense claims in time.
- Complete administrative and training requirements on time and accurately.
- Sign and conform to all the internal policies set by TransMedics.
- Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor.

- Degree in business or life sciences or equivalent.
- Experience selling in a medical field for at least 5 years, leadership role is not necessary, but an advantage.
