The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
You will provide technical support on current Applications for all Translink Domain Users and, as a member of a small integrated team, provide support and cover for the Help Desk and Computer Operations activities as necessary. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade computer hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment across the Translink IT Network.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the management, control and co-ordination of the 'Service Desk' software system by assigning priorities, responding to queries and identifying resolutions in conjunction with all Corporate and Supplier resources.
- Action Service Requests e.g. set up of new users/email accounts.
- Provide technical support for the IT Strategy.
- Providing technical support for other IT related equipment e.g. Ticketing, CCTV.
- Implementing procedures for security control of Corporate assets e.g. computer hardware register, anti-virus policies.
- Provide basic level of training as necessary for all Corporate applications.
- All other duties and responsibilities as directed by management, which will specifically include support and cover during absence to the other members of a small team covering the complete spectrum of an integrated support and operations environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in either an Information Technology or Business related subject.
- 2 yearsβ experience of using computer hardware and operating systems.
- Experience of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience of corporate networks (LAN/WAN).
- Possess a full current driving licence and have access to a car.
