About the Role
Transline International Ltd is seeking an ambitious and results‑driven Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to join our team at our Southend-on-Sea office. This role is ideal for a commercially minded sales professional who can identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, manage existing accounts, and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding Transline International’s client base and strengthening our position within the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation and closing.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
- Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client communications, and opportunities using company systems.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Support the development and implementation of sales and business development strategies.
