Translectrix specializes in auto electrical services for various vehicle types, with a focus on Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HGVs) and Public Service Vehicles (PSVs). Our services include vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and the installation of advanced auto electrical systems such as Driver Safety Systems, side scanners, audible warning systems, and CCTV for DVS London and FORS compliance. Located in Denham, Uxbridge, our specialist service center provides support across Central and Greater London, as well as the South East. We are dedicated to keeping vehicles safe, efficient, and compliant with transport regulations.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Hayes, allowing for a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The Automotive Electrician will perform daily tasks such as diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in vehicles. Responsibilities include:

  • Fault finding
  • Conducting electrical repairs
  • Installing and upgrading advanced electrical components on vehicles

Providing exceptional client service and ensuring compliance with DVS and FORS standards are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Electrical Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and related tasks
  • Strong skills in diagnosing and performing Fault Finding on electrical systems
  • Proficiency in Electrical Repairs and working with electricity-based components
  • Ability to understand and apply safety and compliance standards, including DVS and FORS
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Relevant vocational qualifications in automotive electrical engineering or a related field
  • Experience in handling auto electrical systems for HGVs and PSVs is an advantage
