Job Overview
Interpreting involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original ‘source' language, then reproducing the speech into the ‘target' language with 100% accuracy.
You will be a self‑employed interpreter and translator, providing services across political, business, health care and public sectors. Your responsibilities include:
- Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
- Check non‑English speakers' understanding after each sentence
- Provide conference, consecutive and public‑service interpreting
- Handle highly confidential information
- Liaise between service users and service providers

Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Czech (or other languages)
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or older
- Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
- Any other interpreting related qualification
