p Job Description /p p Provides support to residents who requires care on a daily basis/Responsible for assisting with daily tasks, thereby improving the quality of the residents lives/ Assisting the patient with bathing, grooming and getting dressed/Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate time/ Administering oral and topical medication under the supervision of medical personnel/Providing mental and emotional support/Making recommendations to family members and healthcare personnel on the plan of care/ Organising suitable recreational activities for the patient/ Collaborating with other health care and social care professionals to provide the best possible care. /p p br br All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying. br /p p The Residential Support Worker is required to work effectively as part of the staff team responsible for providing personal care, medication, supporting the financial management and accessing the community. /p p br /p p Assist with attending medical appointments and representing the company in the community. /p p br /p p Contribute to the day-to-day running of the placement in accordance with policies and procedures set out in the Policy and Practice Manual and the home’s Statement of Purpose. /p p br /p p Build successful and appropriate relationships with the Resident(s) who are often vulnerable.
