We are building the world’s leading climate and deep tech early stage venture firm. We are partnering with the most ambitious founders building generational companies that replace legacy systems underpinning the physical world with cleaner, better, and more efficient alternatives, from seed to IPO.
The team has a successful track record of founding, building and investing in some of the most successful tech companies of the last 20 years on both sides of the Atlantic. You will work closely with the partners at the firm, and be responsible for initiating and executing on the strategic projects necessary to build one of the most important firms in our industry.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the success of our portfolio companies, but you will also be asked to lead or support other high priority strategic projects:
- Leading the continued build-out of our external network among corporate executives, financing providers and policy leaders - with the aim of building relationships and partnerships that benefit both our founders and Transition.
- Leading our brand positioning project, and being responsible for further increasing brand awareness throughout our ecosystem.
- Initiate and lead strategic projects that help us execute better internally, and provide more value to our founders, our limited partners and our wider community.
We believe that this role could play a major role in helping us build one of the most important venture firms in the world. We want someone who’s creative, ambitious and who thinks from first principles. Someone who can lead projects end-to-end.
We are looking for someone who has a track record of leading projects from idea stage to completion. The person in this role will be expected to operate independently on a day-to-day basis, and manage others in the team on projects. It is not a stepping stone to an investment role.
4-8 years at a top-tier organisation in a role focused on corporate development, partnerships, strategy and/or business development.
