Transition Partners are currently working with a leading UK-based client in their search for a PMO Lead to join their innovative and fast-paced technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing their project and programme delivery functions.
As PMO Lead, you will be responsible for embedding best-in-class practices and ensuring consistent, successful programme outcomes across the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and champion PMO best practices and frameworks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date roadmaps and delivery plans
- Provide essential business and project support, including financial tracking and progress reporting
- Lead governance and assurance activities, ensuring alignment with key project deliverables
- Act as the primary point of contact for audits related to technology governance
- Establish and manage a comprehensive risk framework to ensure effective risk identification and mitigation
- Continuously evolve and mature the PMO function to support high-quality programme delivery
- Demonstrable experience in a senior or lead role within a PMO function
- Proven background in supporting programmes and projects within a technology-led environment
- Hands-on experience using PPM toolsets to manage project plans, resources, risks, and issues
- Consultancy experience is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering results
