The role and responsibilities:
The role involves supporting people with a variety of complex needs, including mental health, to live as independently as possible in a supported living environment with the potential to transition to full independent living. You will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of a team of staff, supported by the Registered Manager to ensure that there is effective engagement with multi-disciplinary teams to support the people living in the service. This will include managing the team to support adults to live independently with support/signposting to access Hub-based and Wellbeing services to build increased community resilience for individuals.
Ensure the promotion of non-medical solutions and mental wellbeing, development of self-management strategies, supporting people to address any health issues, as well as accessing therapeutic interventions. Ensure the provision of a quality recovery-focused approach to people who may present with complex needs, for example, anxiety or depression, alongside other issues - drug or alcohol misuse or debt problems, etc., supporting people to self-manage long-term health conditions using a range of techniques and in a non-judgmental way, respecting diversity and lifestyle choices.
