You will build trusted relationships and provide practical support, reassurance and encouragement, helping each person develop confidence, make their own choices and live as independently as possible. What you’ll be doing Supporting everyday living skills, household responsibilities and independence. Helping individuals manage their tenancy and finances where required. Supporting health needs, appointments and medication in line with agreed procedures. Encouraging community involvement, relationships and personal interests. Contributing to support plans, reviews and positive risk management. Maintaining accurate records and working with colleagues and professional teams to deliver safe, consistent support. Each person’s needs, preferences and goals will guide your work. You will respect their dignity, rights and choices while helping them do as much as possible for themselves. About you You will be compassionate, patient and dependable, with a calm approach when needs or circumstances change. You must understand the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality, follow agreed support plans and work positively as part of a team.
