Nurture Support, a division of Transforming PLC, is seeking a Regional Director to lead our specialist complex-needs services. If you’re a strategic thinker with strong operational management experience and you’re passionate about driving high-quality person-centred support, this could be an exceptional opportunity to lead meaningful change.
Transforming PLC is a leading UK provider of supported living and complex needs services, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and behaviours of concern. Nurture Support has been developed to bridge the national gap in specialist complex needs provision, enabling individuals to transition safely from long-term hospital placements, unsuitable settings or out-of-area institutional care into high-quality, supported living within their own communities.
The Role
As Regional Director, you will provide strategic leadership, operational accountability and quality oversight across multiple complex needs services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement the regional strategy for complex needs and supported living services
- Drive service transformation, new service development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee operational delivery across multiple sites, ensuring performance, occupancy and KPI targets are met
- Maintain full CQC compliance and regulatory excellence across all services
- Lead safeguarding, risk management, clinical governance and quality improvement plans
- Hold accountability for regional budgets, financial planning and commercial performance
- Provide values-led leadership, workforce planning and performance management across the division
- Build strong partnerships with Local Authorities, Integrated Care Boards, commissioners and strategic stakeholders
- Promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), trauma-informed practice and person-centred care frameworks
The Ideal Candidate:
You will bring the expertise, resilience and professional judgement required to lead multisite regulated services while driving quality, compliance and sustainable growth.
About you:
- Degree in Health & Social Care, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or related field
- Significant senior leadership experience within complex needs or specialist support services
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and the Health & Social Care Act 2008
- Proven experience leading large, multi-site teams and Registered Managers
- Strong financial management, budgeting and commercial awareness
- Experience overseeing multidisciplinary or clinical teams
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed practice
- A compassionate, inclusive and person-centred leadership style
- Postgraduate leadership qualification (ILM, MBA or equivalent) desirable
