The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 Β£ per year.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • AKI/Renal On-call rota
  • Delivering the procedure list under the supervision of the procedures consultant
  • Assisting with ward rounds and supervising junior doctors on the wards
  • Clinics as per middle grade rota
  • Ad-hoc patient reviews in C6
  • On-call GIM/Acute Medicine commitments
  • Attending and delivering department-organised teaching

Clinical areas: C24/25/22, Renal Unit, C6, AMU, ED

Staffing: The candidate will work in a team comprising of 10 Renal Physicians, 2 Matrons, 1 Nurse Consultant, 6 Specialist Nurses, 41 Ward Nurses, 4 Senior Clinical Fellows, 3 Medical/Clinical SpRs, and 18 Juniors.
