This role requires General Pharmaceutical Council Registration. Base location: Poole Hospital. Please note that you will be required to work across site.
Main duties of the job include:
- Working closely with and supporting the Lead and Deputy Lead Technician in the day-to-day running of the Technical Services aseptic suite.
- Providing a quality, GMP compliant service, supplying aseptically prepared medicines including clinical trials, in a timely manner to all service users.
- Acting as a supervisor under the direction of the Deputy Lead Technician in the aseptic suite or its support areas.
- Line managing and acting as a role model for junior members of staff.

Qualifications required include:
- Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians or equivalent.
- Professional registration with the GPhC.
Experience required includes:
- Knowledge of cancer services.
- Experience of working in a busy pharmacy department.
- Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy department.
- Experience of using JAC or Mosaiq pharmacy computer system.
- Experience of working in a clean room.
- Experience of working in an Aseptic Unit.
Personal attributes include:

Other requirements specific to the role:
- Able to work flexibly and participate in weekend working, Bank Holiday rotas and other rotas as operational duties require.

- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good written and oral communication.
