Job overview: We are looking to recruit an experienced Medical PA/Administrator to support the Acute Inpatient Services at Mill View Hospital. Working to support the Consultant Psychiatrist, and wider Multi Disciplinary Team on Falmer Ward, this role will be intrinsic to the provision of care to patients admitted with a range of mental health conditions. This will prove to be a busy and diverse role, requiring a highly organised and proactive individual with a background in healthcare related administration work. We would therefore welcome applications from anyone who can demonstrate the skills and experience relevant for this post, and whose values and motivators align with those of our organisation.

Main duties of the job: A range of Medical PA duties to include but not limited to:

  • Diary management
  • Booking ward reviews
  • Letter writing
  • Communications with families, carers and other professional organisations
  • Managing stock items
  • Supporting new starters and rotational medics
  • Administration of meetings, agenda writing and minute taking
