The Informatics Requirements Coordinator supports the Informatics team’s programme of work. The role involves project coordination, data analysis, and the delivery of insights that enhance data use and understanding across the organisation.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and monitor the Informatics programme of work.
  • Coordinate project meetings, produce agendas, take minutes, and track actions.
  • Develop project documentation including plans, risk registers, and highlight reports.
  • Monitor progress against project milestones, escalating risks or issues as required.
  • Track change requests and support the maintenance and improvement of published projects.
  • Undertake quantitative data analysis and validation to support programme delivery.
  • Produce performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities from data to inform decision‑making.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clinical, operational, and corporate services.
  • Act as a key point of contact for informatics requirements and queries.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ensure all documentation meets Trust standards and analytical best practice.
  • Adhere to information governance and maintain confidentiality of data.
  • Support audit, assurance, and data validation processes related to Informatics projects.
  • Promote the Trust’s values and culture in all work.
  • Participate in personal and professional development.
Working arrangements

The role is hybrid: one team day per week in our Croydon office (Wednesday) and one ad‑hoc office day at any of our sites. Flexible working schedules are available. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Qualifications
  • Degree level in health informatics, computer science, social sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in informatics, programme/project management or data analysis.
  • Postgraduate or professional qualification in research or advanced statistics.
  • Further training or qualification in data analysis or business intelligence.
Knowledge and skills
  • Experience of data analysis, reporting, and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and/or BI tools.
  • Experience of project coordination in complex organisations, engaging multidisciplinary stakeholders.
  • Developing reporting solutions meeting business needs, including clinical data quality and performance management.
  • Understanding of change management processes and information governance in a BI/informatics environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of data quality, processes, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret trends.
  • Ability to prepare and present clear reports and analyses to a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive).
  • Dynamic, commercial, customer‑driven, delivery‑focused attitude.
  • Good technical knowledge of information systems and their application to clinical services.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise own work, and meet deadlines.
  • Negotiating and influencing skills.

  • Understanding of ITIL good practice.
