The main duties of the role involve providing one-to-one assessments, therapy, and group interventions. Other tasks such as supervision and training can be considered depending on need and experience. You will receive regular supervision and the chance to engage in ongoing continuing professional development.
Opportunities for the successful applicant include varied work on well-established intervention pathways, offering appropriate evidence-based psychological treatments and care, supporting a range of colleagues, and enabling service development. You will be working alongside other therapists and MDT colleagues, as part of a Community Mental Health Service at an exciting time of Community Transformation and change in terms of psychological interventions.

Qualifications required include:
- An Honours Degree in Psychology recognised for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society, or RMN, OT or Social Worker qualification.
- HCPC registered practitioner psychologist, or registered member of an appropriate professional body e.g., BABCP registered CBT practitioner.
- Post-graduate qualifications in psychological assessment and psychological therapy appropriate to the designated pathway.
Experience required includes:
- Experience in psychological therapy in the field of the designated speciality, including assessment, formulation and interventions.
- Experience of model-specific psychological assessment of clients across a wide range of care settings.
- Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision.
