Job overview: You will join the team working on our organisation's digital transformation (EPR). The post holder will work on a series of assignments that will be integral to the success of Digitising Health Records and will be part of the EPR programme team working primarily on Clinical documentation reporting into the EPR programme Manager. You will need to demonstrate a high degree of commitment, the ability to work under pressure, be able to work effectively with minimum supervision and communicate easily with workforce, patients and various stakeholders. Previous experience working within the digital clinical documentation department workspace is essential.
The successful candidates will be based at the Doncaster site; however, you will be asked to work at any location within the Trust. Demands on the service may require changes in hours of work or base.
Main duties of the job: The post holder will primarily manage the Clinical documentation function of the OH EPR aligning the goals and priorities to achieve the overall project plan. Working collaboratively with ICT and Supplier Deployment Teams to deliver new systems to support DBTH clinical staff to include mobile technologies within the delivery of healthcare services. The post holder will work closely with staff at DBTH to deliver paperless implementations of innovative, effective and lasting solutions to complex information requirements. Improving patient safety, quality and patient experience is an explicit priority rather than an assumption and needs to underpin all elements of initiatives undertaken. The post holder will have line manager duties within the Digital Practitioners team.

Person specification:
Qualifications and Training: Master’s qualification or working towards a Master’s or equivalent experience of working at Master’s level. Applicants with a clinical background must have the relevant clinical qualification and registration with the relevant professional body: NMC, GMC, HPCP.
Knowledge and Experience: Specialist knowledge, experience and expertise of information analysis and the use of information across the NHS. Experience of leading large teams across areas of either operational services or digital transformation or both. Demonstrable experience of leading successful programmes of work affecting multiple stakeholders. Significant knowledge and experience of managing change and implementing new ideas. Experience of realisation of benefits within a healthcare setting. Experience in a management role.
Personal Attributes and Skills: Ability to concentrate when analysing programme issues, whilst subject to interruptions/urgent requests for information from colleagues/senior managers. Self-motivated and able to deliver work to a high quality with little or no supervision. Requires advanced keyboard skills/ability to manipulate complex data at speed. Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office–Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills evidenced by the ability to establish productive working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
