We are looking for experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses to join our busy and dynamic 18-bedded General Intensive Care Unit/High Dependency Unit, caring for a wide range of medical, surgical, emergency, and elective patients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a skilled, motivated team working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where no two days are the same.

Main duties of the job:
- Your role involves ensuring that the care of the critically ill adult is planned, implemented and evaluated following best practice.
- You will need to act as a positive role model at all times, display excellent communication and interpersonal skills and act as an expert practitioner, caring for the critically ill adult and their families towards recovery or providing end of life care.
- You will be a role model to other members of the MDT and a resource for junior colleagues.
- You will adhere to the NMC Code of practice at all times.

Person specification:
- Qualifications: NMC Registration, Critical Care course, Teaching qualification.
- Experience: Current or recent critical care experience. Demonstrate ability to provide high quality patient care with minimal supervision and present a professional image, which inspires confidence. Demonstrate the commitment and ability to support, teach and mentor junior staff.
