Job overview:

The Complex Needs & Disability Care Group within the Children, Young People and Family Health Services Directorate is investing in its future workforce and looking to support individuals to develop their skills to achieve a career in an administration role within Cardiff & Vale UHB. We have two exciting opportunities available for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to learn from our friendly administration team. The successful applicants should have a proactive and friendly attitude, good communication skills and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm to learn.

Main duties of the job:

  • To provide an efficient and effective clerical and administration support service to a designated team in accordance with Health Boards policies and procedures.
  • To attend regular review meetings with the supervisor and assessor, leading to an Apprenticeship Qualification in Digital Skills for Business Level 2.

This qualification consists of:

  • Apprenticeship Level 2 Diploma in Digital Skills for Business
  • Agored Diploma in Digital Skills for Business (QCF)
  • Prentis-iaith Welsh Language Development

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including Maths and English
