Main area: Pharmacy Grade Band 4. Contract Permanent. Hours: Full time, Flexible working. 37.5 hours per week (Saturday 09:00 - 13:00 + Sunday 09:00 - 12:30 every 6 weeks + at least 1 bank holiday per year).
Job overview: To assist the Stores and Distribution Service Lead, in running and maintaining an efficient and effective pharmaceutical receipting, storage and distribution hub, for all EKHUFT sites and outside units across Kent. Whilst helping to ensure MHRA Good distribution practice and Home office license requirements are maintained at all times via a Quality Management system.
Main duties of the job: This specific post involves the management of the Senior assistant based in Distribution at Kent and Canterbury hospital and oversees the management of the TWS Pharmacy storekeepers across all 3 acute sites. Approximately 30,000 stock items are issued per week to wards, departments, health centres and other units across Kent.
