The Birmingham Women’s Hospital Facilities Department have a vacancy within the housekeeping supervisory department. The post holders will be required to undertake a full range of housekeeping supervisor duties within our busy hospital. Experience is preferred.
Main duties of the job:
- The successful candidates will form part of our existing housekeeping management team.
- The post holders will be directly responsible to the Housekeeping Team Leaders to ensure the trust receives the highest quality of cleaning throughout the hospital site.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Previous Domestic services experience
- Sound knowledge of cleaning services
- Experience of prioritising work and able to identify priority areas
- Knowledge of staff allocation, rotas and record keeping
- Experience of handling difficult situations and problem solving
- Able to complete absence and sickness records of staff and control annual leave.
- Previous NHS experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Previous experience of working in a team and of training others
