The purpose of ODL is: a catalyst for change in leadership impact at scale and depth beyond this moment. The current priorities for the ODL team include:
- Delivery of the OD plan (primarily through Group wide OD interventions and Divisional level systemic team development interventions)
- Implementation and continuous improvement of the Leadership Framework, learning pathways and development offers
- Talent Management & Succession Planning strategy
Main duties of the job:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of OD interventions.
- Work with partners from commission to evaluation.
- Carry out quantitative and qualitative analysis, developing compelling insights and the associated narrative/story.
- Lead on and/or support all OD work from triage/commission, diagnose and planning, based on client needs and in line with the OD consultancy cycle.
- Support the development, implementation and evaluation of interventions relating to trust-wide transformation programmes, quality improvement, leadership and talent and complex team development work.
- Proactively engage in relationship-building with key stakeholders and partners across the trust.
- Provide expert facilitation and/or co-facilitation, coaching and personal and team development to improve team effectiveness.
Individual Leadership Development offer:
- Facilitate Peer Learning and/or Action Learning Sessions.
- Prepare, and contribute to, reports as required.
- Conduct learning needs analyses.
- Undertake individual coaching to leaders at the trust, via the Coaching & Mentoring hub, to support them with their development.
- Commission and manage external learning providers to support the delivery of leadership pathways, development offers, coach and mentor skills training programmes and other OD interventions.
Person specification:
- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
- Masters degree in organisational development or related field e.g. psychology, behavioural science OR requisite experience.
- Experience of designing and delivering leadership training/development programmes.
- Experience of working in a large, complex, culturally diverse organisation.
- Experience of engaging, collaborating with and managing stakeholders.
- Knowledge of organisational development and change management theory.
- Experience of advising leaders on OD issues.
- Experience of supporting organisational and behavioural change.
- Experience of group facilitation and/or co-facilitation to small audiences of up to 70 people.
