  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines, protocols, and audits to improve patient safety and outcomes in surgical care.
  • Provide non-medical prescribing services within the surgical division, working as an independent prescriber to manage and optimise patients’ medication regimens.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless pharmaceutical care throughout the surgical patient pathway, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Participate in service development initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance the role of pharmacy within surgery.
