The Legal Services team plays a vital role in safeguarding the Trust and its employees, providing expert support across a wide range of legal matters including inquests, claims and casework. We are now looking for a highly organised and motivated Legal Services Administrator to join our busy, friendly and dedicated team. This is a key position supporting our case handlers and wider Legal Services function. You will assist with the smooth running of inquest and claims processes, manage sensitive documentation, coordinate case-related activity and ensure deadlines are met with precision. Your work will directly support the Trust's ability to respond effectively to legal matters, ensuring fairness, transparency and high-quality service to staff, patients and external partners. Main duties of the job:

  • You will provide a high quality administrative service to the Legal Services team in order to support the delivery of legal services to the organisation, and timely and efficient general administrative support to the Legal Services team on a day to day basis.
  • You will carry out a full range of administrative duties, including managing the team’s general email inbox, handling telephone queries, maintenance of case files and team spreadsheets, data collection and input, and the collation and preparation of records for disclosure to third parties.

Person specification:

  • Competence GCSE Grade C or above Maths and English
  • Previous NHS or legal experience
