Primarily based at Wexham Park Hospital, with cross-site working across Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust as required.

We are looking for an organised, proactive and compassionate FLS Administrator to join our Fracture Liaison Service team. Working closely with our Fracture Liaison Specialist Practitioners, you will play an important role in supporting patients through their care pathway, helping to ensure that they receive timely, coordinated and effective support.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day administrative activities of the Fracture Liaison Service.
  • Monitor patient pathways and help ensure that patients progress through their care in a timely manner.
  • Proactively recognise potential problems and work with colleagues to address them.
  • Work closely with the FLS Specialist Practitioners and wider clinical teams to support a smooth and effective patient journey.
  • Provide a professional, friendly and responsive service to patients, colleagues and other healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job:

The post holder will work across Frimley Health acute trust sites, providing specialist administrative support to the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) and contributing to the effective management of patients with fragility fractures. The Clinical Administration Support Officer plays an integral role in supporting the development, monitoring, and coordination of patient pathways within the FLS. The post holder will help ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and effective communication throughout the fragility fracture pathway.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Booking appointments and blood tests.
  • Monitoring and validating DEXA scan waiting times.
  • Escalating concerns or delays to the clinical team as appropriate.

Effective tracking and monitoring of fragility fracture pathways will support the Trust in delivering the objectives of the Thames Valley Integrated Care System by promoting integrated, evidence-based care, reducing unwarranted variation, and strengthening secondary fracture prevention. The role will contribute to the achievement of commissioning requirements, NICE guidance, and national standards of care while supporting improved patient outcomes, reducing future fracture risk, and enhancing system-wide efficiency across the Thames Valley region.

Qualifications:

  • Good general education to GCSE standard or equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient keyboard and IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience:
