Are you looking for a part-time Admin role in mental health?

We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our small and friendly admin team within Oxfordshire Psychological Therapies, where you will help provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to aid the smooth running of the department.

The psychological therapies team includes highly experienced, friendly, approachable psychological therapists from all modalities, who are all extremely compassionate about supporting patients with serious mental health problems.

We provide regular opportunities for you to contribute at monthly supervision and team meetings.

The role is for 18.75hrs per week and is based at The Warneford Hospital, Headington.

Main duties of the job

  • To be the first point of contact to provide a comprehensive reception function to deliver a high quality, professional, confidential and efficient service.
  • Handling all incoming calls to the team in a polite, courteous and helpful manner.
  • Perform general office duties: Responding to patient and staff emails.

Person specification

Qualifications – Academic/Skills/Professional

  • Level 2 qualification/or GCSE in English and Maths, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment

Further Training or Job Related Aptitude and Skills

  • Literate, numerate and able to communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to communicate with members of the public from many diverse groups.
  • Effective organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, plan and complete work.
  • Able to work with accuracy with attention to detail.

Experience

  • Experience of reception work.
  • Experience of working with IT systems especially Microsoft office 365

Personal Qualities

  • Able to work effectively as a team.
  • A welcoming, calm and kind attitude to reassure anxious patients or those with additional needs.
