Job overview
The Mole Valley Neighbourhood Mental Health Team has an exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Lead (NMC, HCPC-OT, SWE). This is a new post to the service and we will be developing the role over time as the successful applicant embeds into the Service. This is an ideal role for a nurse who is experienced and passionate about providing clinical leadership and patient care to service users .The service is for service users over 18 years old.
This involves being part of a multi- disciplinary team providing the clinical leadership and clinical supervision of staff including VCSE employed colleagues working within the Brief Interventions service line. There will also be an expectation that the successful applicant will also carry a very small case of complex cases.
The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role. This will include working from GP practices
Main duties of the job
Be part of the community neighbourhood (INT) leadership team and provide a supervisory/consultation role for staff both within the service line and INT when required.
To be responsible for the development and maintenance of effective clinical pathways within the service line and wider community INT team.
Support safe, efficient and effective high-quality transitions in and out of the service line.
To closely monitor productivity and delivery of KPIs within the service line, supporting the team manager with reporting and activity focused work, when required.
To take a lead role in the provision of clinical leadership and caseload supervision within the service line acting as a positive role model in promoting clinical excellence.
To be proactive in developing collaborative working relationships with partners embedding working with people with Lived experience at the core of the role.
Ensure that effective communication systems exist between all disciplines within the team and between GP Practices and partner agencies.

Education
- Membership of a professional body: (NMC, HCPC, SWE)
Experience
- Significant experience working at band 6 or higher.
- Professional knowledge acquired through degree supplemented by post registration/post graduate specialist training, experience and/or short courses, CPD or equivalent
