Job overview
The Fracture Service Administrator (FSA) will work within dedicated specialty clinical areas to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that there are coordinated and streamlined administrative processes that revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
Main duties of the job
The FSA is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of the trauma patient administrative processes throughout their pathway; giving the patients a single point of contact, ensuring the patients and carer experience is central to every stage of the patient journey.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The FSA will work closely with the relevant Trauma Coordinator and Virtual Fracture Clinic Nurse, patient booking team and clinic teams to ensure patients are being managed and tracked proactively. This will include supporting data quality, validation and ensuring all patients have recorded pathway start dates.
The FSA roles will also be the key provider of administrative support to the clinical teams within the trauma office.
