An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA/Senior Administrator for the Senior Leadership Team within the Community Care Group comprising of Bolton and Wigan Services.

Main duties of the job:

  • Provide a comprehensive, efficient and confidential administration support service to the Bolton Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensure all managers within your area of responsibility are organised and equipped to fulfil their responsibilities.
  • Maintain appropriate electronic systems along with co-ordinating diaries and minute taking.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of PA and Secretarial duties to members of the Senior Leadership Team within the Community Care Group.
  • Prepare, collate and circulate papers and reports for meetings and provide full service for these meetings including minute taking.

Person specification:

Education / Qualifications:

  • OCR or RSA 111 Typing/Word processing certificate or equivalent.
  • Good standard of education / GCSE Maths and English.

Experience:

  • Experience of all Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel, electronic diary management and use of patient recording systems.
  • Demonstrable PA experience at Senior Management level.
  • Experience of arranging and administering multiple and complex meetings, including taking and transcribing minutes.
  • Experience of working for more than one manager.
  • Experience of diary management.
  • Experience of setting up systems for managing and monitoring information.
  • Experience of arranging events and conferences.
  • Experience of organisational change management.

Knowledge:

  • The rationale around appraisal and personal development.
  • Use office equipment.
  • Use of EPR systems.
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or NHS Services.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Evidence of leadership skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and plan conflicting, and complex work demands.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Minute taking.
  • Knowledge of the EPR system/Audio Typing.
  • Experience of sickness absence management.

Important Information about working for GMMH:

All positions within the Trust are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. The Trust mandates all post holders who require a DBS for their role to subscribe to the DBS Update Service. You will be required to enrol for this service for a fee of £16 per year and maintain registration throughout your employment with GMMH.
