We are supporting a high‑growth, tech‑enabled organisation through a complex M&A integration and are looking for an experienced Integration Programme Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring a successful outcome. This is a high‑ownership, delivery‑focused role, responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership of a large, cross‑company integration programme. You will sit at the centre of the integration effort, working closely with senior leaders, functional heads and programme managers to create clarity, align priorities and drive outcomes in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.

Success in this role depends on strong judgement, authority, and the ability to operate without a fixed playbook—balancing pace and execution rigour while avoiding unnecessary process or organisational drag.

Key responsibilities
  • Integration planning and delivery
    • Lead and coordinate integration activities in preparation for Day 1 and beyond, ensuring readiness across all key workstreams.
    • Take ownership of integration outcomes, ensuring decisions are made promptly, trade‑offs are explicit, and progress is maintained.
    • Drive delivery of high‑impact value creation initiatives alongside senior strategy and operational stakeholders.
    • Ensure integration activity supports ongoing growth and operational momentum rather than slowing it down.
  • Programme leadership and governance
    • Provide day‑to‑day leadership of the overarching integration programme, spanning multiple teams and functions.
    • Identify, prioritise and sequence workstreams, ensuring clear milestones, dependencies and success measures.
    • Anticipate risks and constraints early, escalating and resolving issues before they disrupt delivery.
    • Establish effective reporting cadences, forums and tools that support clear decision‑making without introducing excess bureaucracy.
    • Support senior leadership in aligning priorities and resolving conflicts across teams and organisations.
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication
    • Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
    • Craft and deliver clear, high‑quality communications for executive and cross‑functional audiences.
    • Facilitate alignment, collaboration and timely decision‑making across diverse stakeholder groups.
    • Act as a calm, credible point of coordination in periods of ambiguity or change.
    • Apply experience from complex integrations to coach teams, share learning and improve ways of working.
    • Contribute to the ongoing development of integration and operating model best practice.
What we’re looking for
  • Significant experience leading M&A integrations or large‑scale, multi‑workstream transformation programmes.
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments with no prescribed playbook.
  • Strong programme leadership capability, including sequencing work, managing dependencies and driving accountability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging, influencing and challenging senior leaders.
  • A hands‑on, outcomes‑driven mindset with a clear focus on business value and execution.
Personal attributes
  • Comfortable making decisions and taking difficult positions when required.
  • Highly organised, proactive and pragmatic.
  • Calm under pressure, with strong judgement and prioritisation skills.
  • Empathetic communicator with strong facilitation and mediation capabilities.
  • Growth‑oriented, reflective and keen to continuously improve how work gets done.
Nice to have
  • Experience in high‑growth, tech‑enabled or product‑led organisations.
  • Strong technical or digital literacy, enabling effective engagement with product, engineering or platform teams.
